Craftermath!

It is 7.20am and I am not even dressed and Sarah is laying about but I have priorities!

 

 I saw this on facebook

 and knew it was a regular event at my crafting space! This is what it looks like in the middle of a project :)

And here some cards I've made this week. I have had a bit more time as I start a new unit of study, it has not really got going yet. It is so humid and soggy here I am surprised my cards hav not turned to pulp!

And this pic was posted on facebook for the Queen of Copic competion...you can see two of my entries! The mermaid and the lady in red. Wishing I was going to the papercraft expo in Melbourne!

I was not planning to do another Copic Queen entry but I couldn't help myself! What do you think?

I made it like a screen/partition with the ladies on the front and the flowers on the back. I had lots of fun making it and it is something I really like :) I wish I could go to the papaercraft expo in Melbourne...still 5 months to wait for ours in Brissy.

I might not have much time to make cards this week, I have to sit my first exam ever on Monday and I am a bit freaked out by the idea so I am studying hard! But then I get to start studying about crime and I am looking forward to that :) At least that means my next exam is 13 weeks away!

 These next four cards are vintage as I use my new favorite things from Crafty Secrets .... The images are just so gorgeous, you can't make a mistake in creating a lovely card :)

I have been having fun with tags and using distress inks...ssshhh, it's not Stampin' Up! It is so fun and easy even Sarah had a turn, aren't her tags cute?

 Here are two cards on which I placed tags, don't they look great stamped??

And this box was a white hard cardboard bow with drawers that I got from Riot and I distressed it with ink, not expecting it to turn out looking rusty but I like it! And I decorated it accordingly. :)

I have been very busy doing online uni study and the kids just got back to school so I hope to get a few afternoons soon to make some cards for Valentine's Day!

Hi Again :)

It has been a while since I made cards. I have been very busy with school holidays and doing a bit of university study part time.

But my Mum has been visiting and we love making cards together :)

 I have used a few different things this time around and think I'm falling for vintage. But I still need my Stampin Up! The 'Just Because' sentiment stamp is from 'Vintage Verses' and is a freebie from the Sale-a-bration which starts TOMORROW!

Where have I been?

 

Ok, I know I've been slack with my blog, but I've been busy, busy & busy. Well maybe some of that busy was actually a holiday with my Mum in the remote NT town of Nhulunbuy. It was so lovely.
I did get to make some cards with my Mum, she loves decoupage cards, and I had some fun with them too! I really love Ranger liquid pearls, you just squeeze them on and they dry to look like pearls!

 

                         

 

I hope every one is all good out there and keep your eyes open for something new!

Don't hurt your neck!

And I don't have all day trying to fix it, even though I've been trying for ages!!! Sorry about that!!!

New Colours!

The great thing about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is I get to get products before the catalogue comes out....

and even though I can't show you the catalogue online yet, I can show you examples!
