Where have I been?

 

Ok, I know I've been slack with my blog, but I've been busy, busy & busy. Well maybe some of that busy was actually a holiday with my Mum in the remote NT town of Nhulunbuy. It was so lovely.
I did get to make some cards with my Mum, she loves decoupage cards, and I had some fun with them too! I really love Ranger liquid pearls, you just squeeze them on and they dry to look like pearls!

Don't hurt your neck!

So here are some cards I've made, using great colours and products from the new catalogue...... but you have to turn your head to have a look because three of them just won't sit up straight!!!!!!

 

And I don't have all day trying to fix it, even though I've been trying for ages!!! Sorry about that!!!

 

This one works fine though! I like being able to personalize the card with the Memorable Moments stamp set.

New Colours!

The great thing about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is I get to get products before the catalogue comes out....

and even though I can't show you the catalogue online yet, I can show you examples!

 

So this week I'm using all the new 2012-2014 'In Colours' that will be available from the next catalogue!

And this card is inspired from the new catalogue too!

That's not a card!

I know I said card class, but this is what we are making on Thursday, a cute gift box and it's so easy!

Simply does it!

I just needed something easy today, so Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White are my colours. This card took 5 minutes and I think it looks nice, how about you? I'm loving the postage stamp punch, it will be available in the new catalogue for $27.95 as will the stamp set I used today, Pretty Postage for only $16.95. I'm having fun with Pumpkin Pie, and am proud of myself for making a card a day!!! Have you got time for your craft?

Pumpkin Pie and ....

Not food, Stampin' Up! colours! Today I used Melon Mambo with Whisper White and a touch of Pear Pizzazz. I made a large square card which pretty much takes the whole A4 so thats why I don't make them very much! I have to start thinking of the card for my FREE class on the 23rd.

Card maker's block!

I haven't made a card since the kids went back to school, and  everytime I sat down to do it, I couldn't get inspired :(

I don't know what's up...my brain is just mush!!

So today I thought I'd pick a colour and work with that during the week, and it worked!

I picked Pumpkin Pie and stuck up my colour & the colour coach card on my fab new inspiration board.

I picked the SU suggestion for today, Pumkin Pie, Early Expresso and Daffodil Delight. What do you think?

Still not sure about it, sometimes I just don't know what look it is I'm going for!!!!! But I'll try a new colour combo tomorrow!

Mother's Day card class

Never Enough!

As I tidied up my stamps after a card making day, I thought that they look so nice, I took a pic!
For some reason I can't get it to go straight here but you get the idea! I have a few!!! But then I turned around and saw some that I fogot to put in!! Now I know you think it looks like I've got alot but it's NEVER ENOUGH!! Which is why I love StampinUp catalogues, a favorite way to chill out is just to flick through those pages!!!! Ahhhhhh....

In my Happy Place!

 The thing I love about making cards is that I can never be exactly sure how they will turn out, but the kick I get when I like it is great! But I can't look to long, I will find fault! The hardest part is thinking up a layout. I copy quite a few from the Stampin' Up! idea catalogue, just adding my own touches, which is what I did with all of these, except the pink one, did that all by myself! I really love the label punch (on the pink card), I use it about 50% of the time! It just looks so elegant. I really do love card making!
