Don't look Mum!

I made this Mum card and liked it so much that special Mums will get it for mother's day! I cased the design from a British card making magazine which came with these gorgeous twenty's stamps. It is an easel card so when you pop it up you see the word Mum.

And I made this birthday card too, which is OK, not a favorite! It took me ages though! I used heat embossing on the Happy Birthday with white emboss powder, and used some perfect pearl powder for the flowers.
Now I have to study, which I have been putting off in pursuit of my favorite hobby!! I so would love to make more cards today, maybe tomorrow....

Butterflies are pretty....pretty!

So there might be a bit of a theme in some of these cards! I have been playing with my 'Pappillion Potpourri' butterfly stamps from Stampin Up. The best part is using the matching punches so I never have to cut! Occasional cutting is OK but too much means less time for making! But right now I am having difficulty not putting a butterfly on a creation!
I have also decorated three more boxes, with my favorite being the bird and butterflies. The picture doesn't capture how gorgeous it is!!

And I'm having rouble with placing these pics so forgive the crazy layout!

Boxes

Well I didn't win Queen of Copic :(
But I tried!!
This week I took some boxes I had laying around like this one...

and turned them into these.

I had a ball. I just stamped the boxes and topped them like a card. Which is your favorite?

Craftermath!

It is 7.20am and I am not even dressed and Sarah is laying about but I have priorities!
Photo: We saw this post from various people, and we loved it! Do you have a craftermath on your hands, G45ers?
 I saw this on facebook
and knew it was a regular event at my crafting space! This is what it looks like in the middle of a project :)

And here some cards I've made this week. I have had a bit more time as I start a new unit of study, it has not really got going yet. It is so humid and soggy here I am surprised my cards hav not turned to pulp!

And this pic was posted on facebook for the Queen of Copic competion...you can see two of my entries! The mermaid and the lady in red. Wishing I was going to the papercraft expo in Melbourne!
Photo: Only 2 more days....and the Queen will be announced! Who will it be? Be sure to come along to the Melbourne Scrapbook Expo and you will see!!!

Just one more entry...

I was not planning to do another Copic Queen entry but I couldn't help myself! What do you think?

I made it like a screen/partition with the ladies on the front and the flowers on the back. I had lots of fun making it and it is something I really like :) I wish I could go to the papaercraft expo in Melbourne...still 5 months to wait for ours in Brissy.
I might not have much time to make cards this week, I have to sit my first exam ever on Monday and I am a bit freaked out by the idea so I am studying hard! But then I get to start studying about crime and I am looking forward to that :) At least that means my next exam is 13 weeks away!

Hello!

Hi all, here are some more cards I have been creating. The first two I have entered into a competition.
They get to be displayed at the Melbourne papercraft expo.

These next four cards are vintage as I use my new favorite things from Crafty Secrets .... The images are just so gorgeous, you can't make a mistake in creating a lovely card :)

Hope you are all great and had a lovely Valantines Day this week. I did make some cards but didn't get to posting them :) I will eventually. See you!

Tagalisious

I have been having fun with tags and using distress inks...ssshhh, it's not Stampin' Up! It is so fun and easy even Sarah had a turn, aren't her tags cute?

Here are two cards on which I placed tags, don't they look great stamped??

And this box was a white hard cardboard bow with drawers that I got from Riot and I distressed it with ink, not expecting it to turn out looking rusty but I like it! And I decorated it accordingly. :)

I have been very busy doing online uni study and the kids just got back to school so I hope to get a few afternoons soon to make some cards for Valentine's Day!

Hi Again :)

It has been a while since I made cards. I have been very busy with school holidays and doing a bit of university study part time.
But my Mum has been visiting and we love making cards together :)
I have used a few different things this time around and think I'm falling for vintage. But I still need my Stampin Up! The 'Just Because' sentiment stamp is from 'Vintage Verses' and is a freebie from the Sale-a-bration which starts TOMORROW!
Take a look at these cards I have made.

These Valenines Day cards are gatefold cards which are so easy to make, and are still the regular C6 size. If you want to know about anything I have used, just drop me an email.I 'll be posting about Sale-a -bration tomorrow for sure :)
